The Taliban have hanged a dead body on a crane in the main square of the western Afghan city of Herat.
According to “Associated Press” this action may be a sign of the return of the old group methods.
Ëazir Ahmad Seddiqi, who owns a pharmacy on the edge of the square, told the Associated Press that four bodies were brought to the main square and three others to other parts of the city to be displayed publicly.
Seddiqi said the Taliban announced in the square that the four bodies displayed in the square belonged to persons who had been caught participating in a kidnapping and had been killed by police.
