Olaf Solz, in a short public statement today announced that talks on the governing coalition will begin tomorrow. Scholz said the majority of the German population has indicated that they want a coalition between the 3 parties.
“It is up to us to implement this mandate now. Negotiating contacts will begin tomorrow. “We are grateful for the serious and professional way in which the Greens and the FDP have discussed the formation of the government so far,” he said.
According to what has been announced, the research talks between the Social Democrats, the Greens and the FDP will start on Thursday, with a meeting that will start at 11 am German time in Berlin and is expected to last six hours.
