In the US about 580 thousand homeless people will be left on the streets during the winter months.
About 580,000 people living on the streets of the US, which suffered the biggest blow during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), will be looking for a warm place to stay in the coming winter months.
New York with 80 thousand and Los Angeles with 65 thousand, have the largest homeless population in the country. While Washington which is the ‘heart’ of the country has about 8 thousand homeless.
The homeless, who live near important places like the White House and the Capitol Building, live in tents during the summer.
The homeless have become almost a reality of the country, so many citizens no longer pay attention to them.
With winter approaching, the problems of the homeless are not on any government agenda that should work to protect this category of people.AA
