Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria claims that Israel has carried out an air strike on the T4 military air base east of the Syrian city of Homs.
Assad regime’s SANA news agency in its news based on military sources of the regime’s Ministry of Defense claims that Israel last night at 21:33 local time carried out an air attack on the T4 military air base in the city of Homs in the central part of Syria.
“Israel carried out the attack in the direction of the Tenf region from the Iraq-Jordan-Syria triangle,” the statement said, adding that “our air defense systems have withstood enemy missiles and shot down most of them.”
At the T4 military air base east of Homs, alongside the regime army, there are reportedly military bases belonging to foreign terrorist groups under the command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Meanwhile, the Israeli authorities have not yet made any statement regarding the event.
The Assad regime claims that Israel carried out airstrikes on September 3 against Damascus, on August 20 in the capital Damascus and Homs, on August 17 in the Quneitra region in the south of the country, on July 22 in Homs, on July 19 in Aleppo, on July 9.
