Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended flights to Kabul after what it called heavy interference by Taliban authorities.
The suspension came on Thursday after the Taliban government ordered the airline, the only international airline operating regularly outside the Afghan capital, to reduce ticket prices to pre-fall levels of the Western-backed Afghan government in August.
“Our flights were often faced with unnecessary delays due to the unprofessional attitude of the aviation authorities in Kabul,” said Abdullah Hafeez Khan, PIA spokesman for the AFP news agency.
