Hassan Yahyavi said at a press conference that Sarab District intelligence forces have arrested several people linked to a terrorist group who have joined the spy organizations of hostile countries.
The official did not provide further details about the incident.
Sarab County is located 150 km north of Tabriz in the Province of East Azerbaijan, in northwestern Iran.
