An explosion was recorded in a mosque in the Spin Ghar area of Afghanistan as worshipers were praying on Friday. According to preliminary reports, at least 15 people were injured, while it is thought that there are also victims.
Atal Shinwari, a resident of the area, told Reuters that the blast occurred around 13:30 local time when the explosive, which was apparently inside the mosque, exploded.
As in previous cases, where several attacks on mosques have been recorded, suspicions fall on ISIS’s branch in the Islamic country. In early November, following an ISIS attack, at least 19 people were killed and 120 others injured.
During this period when the Taliban came to power, more than 120 people were killed and the terrorist organization claimed responsibility for these crimes.
