Suicide bombers have targeted Uganda’s capital, Kampala, killing at least three people and wounding 30 others. Three motorcyclists blew themselves up near parliament and police headquarters.
The death toll is expected to deepen further, writes the BBC. Officials blamed the attacks on the Allied Democratic Force, an armed group based in DR Congo.
“Explosion threats are systematically active in Uganda, where suicide bombings are the main focus,” the BBC reported.
Among those killed, according to authorities, are two police officers killed, while most of the injured are in critical condition.
