Apple is exploring ways to give iPhone users more privacy in public places.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has released a document in which the U.S. giant describes a technology that would offer iPhone owners the ability to darken the screen and make it invisible to others.
Just by wearing a pair of matching glasses, perhaps starting with Apple Glass expected as early as 2022 according to the latest Bloomberg forecasts, you can see the screen.
According to the patent, the privacy glasses function recognizes the face of the user in front, through Face ID, to make the phone panel blurry or completely black, depending on the settings selected during the configuration phase.
At that point, only glasses with a special lens could “translate” what goes into the iPhone, filtering out background noise.
