At least 4 people, including a woman, were killed and 4 others injured after a mine blast at an ammunition factory in Romania. Health authorities said the mine exploded as several workers were working to deactivate it.
According to the website of Energotech Group, which owns the Babeni factory where the attack took place, the factory is a certified supplier to the Romanian Ministry of Defense and the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).
In 2019 there was an accidental explosion in the same factory and as a result a 22-year-old man lost his life.
