Jeff Bezos, former CEO of Amazon and founder of the space tourism company ‘Blue Origin’ thinks that in the future people will visit the Earth just as they would visit the ‘Yellowstone’ National Park.
Bezos believes he and the world’s richest will soon find a way to make humans interplanetary species by colonizing different planets.
During a session at the National Cathedral in Washington, Bezos told NASA Administrator Bill Nelson that his company is focusing on removing the most harmful industry from Earth in order to preserve the planet.
He also predicts that, in the future, there may be children who will call the space their home.
Bezos is the second richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Bezos, like his rival Elon Musk, is looking for success in the space tourism industry and believes another larger and more space-oriented phase is expected to begin.
“Millions of people will move from Earth to space over time. “And this is the vision of ‘Blue Origin’, where millions of people will work in space,” said Bezos.
“Over the centuries, most or many people will be born into space. It will be their first home. They will be born and live in these colonies. They can visit Earth just as they would visit Yellowstone National Park, he added.
“This Earth can hold, say, 10 billion people to a certain degree. We will have to work hard to figure out how to do this without destroying the planet. “The solar system can hold a trillion people,” Bezos said.
