Queen Elizabeth has vowed to overcome her poor health and be in church while granddaughters Eugenie and Zara baptize their babies together.
Her Majesty was forced to retire from Memorial Sunday duty after a back injury. But she has told courtiers she is determined to be present when the second cousins are baptized tomorrow at All Saints Chapel in Great Windsor Park, Berkshire.
She will make a decision about 11 a.m. after receiving advice from her personal physician that day. Others in attendance will be Beatrice’s father, Prince Andrew, Prince William and wife Kate.
A royal source said: “Her Majesty longs to be there as she knows how important this is to her grandchildren. It has been decided to be a family occasion and a real celebration time after some challenging times for some. members of the royal family, including the Queen herself. She is keen to take part in such a wonderful event after the great personal disappointment of the absence of last Sunday’s Memorial events. “
