The number of people who have lost their lives as a result of intense rains in different regions of Pakistan has increased to 76.
According to local media news, the intense rains that are effective throughout the country have negatively affected the lives of citizens.
With the death of 6 people in Karachi, the number of those who have lost their lives due to accidents caused by the rains that have been going on for three days has reached 14. Of the 6 people, 3 of them lost their lives after coming into contact with electricity, while the other 3 died as a result of the collapse of the ceiling in their homes.
In many parts of the city, streets, houses and businesses were left under water and flooded.
While in Balochistan, which is one of the regions most affected by the rains, 670 houses and 12 dams were damaged.
The intense rains have also been effective in the capital Islamabad and the city of Rawalpindi, where in Islamabad the houses in the H-13 area have remained under water, while in the city of Rawalpindi several roads have remained under water.
Heavy rains are expected to continue throughout the country during Eid.
As a result of the rains that continue from July 5 until now, 49 deaths have been recorded in the country in Balochistan, 5 in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, 4 in North Waziristan, from 2 people in Rawalpindi and Gujranwala. While 8 victims were registered in Karachi.
