Another proposal comes from the authorities in Kaliningrad.
The governor of the Russian Baltic Sea enclave of Kaliningrad has recently proposed a complete ban on the movement of goods between the three Baltic states and Russia, in response to what authorities in the region have called a ‘blockade’ of it by Lithuania.
“As a reciprocal measure, we propose to completely stop the movement of goods between the three Baltic states and Russia,” said Governor Anton Alikhanov.
Meanwhile, he announced that the Kaliningrad region would be excluded from this measure.
We recall that Lithuania has extended restrictions on trade through its territory to the enclave, after phases of the previously announced sanctions of European Union against Moscow.
